10.  It wasn't said in a  different way.  It's music, not a book report.

9.  All my heart & brand new start;  I'm in love & up above,  I'm so blue & because of you. 'Nuf said.

8.  Overuse of common clichés- weather, racing, and especially gambling. If ya can't beat "Two of a Kind Workin' On a Full House", just don't even go there.

7.  Inappropriate use of metaphor.  (ring her clock?)

6.  The rhyme scheme directed the plot rather than the other way around.

5.  Writer made up a story to fit that great hook line he/she came up with.  Again, try it the other way around.

4.  I'm in pain, It's all your fault, there's no hope, I didn't learn anything. Then why are you singing about it?

3.  The writer 'SAID' it all.  Don't say it, show it.

2.  City boy heard a bad song on radio and said, "I can write a better song about rodeos than THAT! " Writer's full of bull alright...and the song lacks sincerity.

1.  The Title is "Falling Rain" but most of the lines in the song are about something else.

1.  They made it sound like getting your song cut wouldn't be as hard as everyone says it is.
